Signs of Abuse
Before we start with the journey of this blog, it is important to note that one of the most common characteristics of an abusive relationship is the control that an abusive partner seeks to maintain in the relationship. While this may start from small things -what to wear, when to go for outing, where to go, whom to talk with, and who are good for friendship etc. things may go worse from here, even leading to sexual coercion and exploitation.
Now let us move our focus to possible signs of abuse.
If you feel that any one near you is no longer hanging out his circle of friends or behaving abnormally without a reason, the person may have been abused. If he or she has the habit of constantly monitoring phone details and gets extremely upset when asked to switch off phone, or when he or she withdraws quieter than usual or becomes irritable on being asked about what is being done or showering immediately after getting home or there are unexplained scratches or bruises, you can consider these signs of symptoms of abuse.
If some one near you or you are facing abuse from some one, do not be hesitant to raise a shout. If you do not, the abuser will attack more victims.
