If you want to shed those extra kilos under the belt and want to gift a new look to yourself, get bikini ready on 3 weeks.
For this, you need not make any special efforts and all you need to do is to observe a bikini diet.
The bikini diet
You have just three weeks in hand and a lot to lose, but do not starve. Starvation will lead to anxiety attacks, mood swings and even bloating. The only thing you will end up losing is your sanity. Eat small, healthy meals every two-three hours. You might have a friend or a relative who’s constantly around you and keeps munching on junk, without gaining an inch. They just have a super metabolic rate. Don’t give in to temptation, you might feel less blessed than them but will benefit way more. So while they stuff themselves with cookies and shakes, you stick to homemade whole wheat sandwiches, brown rice, steamed chicken, fish and lots of fruits and juices. Drink plenty of water. Aim for at least eight glasses a day and avoid salt, sugar and carbohydrated drinks to prevent bloating. Diet coke might be a great dieting aid to stave off hunger but consuming so much that you could practically endorse it is bad. Another thing to watch out for is your carbohydrate consumption. Avoid it after 7 p.m.
Increase your protein intake as its digestion uses the highest level of calories but do not take it to the extreme by going on an all protein diet. Your stomach will become flatter and eating right will do wonders for your digestive system. You will feel more energetic, confident and happy.
The bikini work-out
If you have the time then go for intense cardio. You can burn off extra calories with a high intensity cardio work-out such as spinning or Kick boxing. High intensity intervals boost your body’s fat burner capacity and you tend to burn more in less time. However, a bikini body needs to be firm, even an inch of flab hanging lose is unacceptable in the bikini land. Go for pilates. Not only does it help you burn calories, tighten the body, correct the posture and even elongate your muscles, it also makes you feel as lithe as a ballerina and you can do all this in just 40 minutes.
