Dizziness after meals!
Dizziness after meals is a common occurrence with many people now a days. Since it comes up as such a regular thing, it is as a serious symptom. However, a fact might quite surprise you and that is sometimes dizziness occurring for a longer period of time can be an indication for something serious happening in your body physiology. I myself wasn’t aware of it until it happened with me. Visiting doctors for my illness and reading stuff about it actually told me a lot which otherwise I couldn’t imagine even in my dreams.
It becomes so easy for us to ignore our health amidst daily pressures but increasing toll of ailments have made it imperative for us to keep a fair knowledge of little things affecting us as they may be indications of something gross happening within ourselves. So let’s take a look at some probable reasons of dizziness. Just a piece of caution – I don’t intend to scare you.
Here we go!
Ideally, one might feel dizzy because of the presence of some particular food item in a meal. Being allergic to certain food products often makes the person feel dizzy after having food so if one must become extra cautious the next time, it is consumed. Improperly cooked food can also be a cause of dizziness after meals. Also chewing food hastily without ingesting it properly can make it difficult for the digestive tract to digest it. This may lead to dizziness after meals. Pregnant ladies might feel dizzy after eating as well.
However, if it is experienced for too long a period of time, there can be more to what you must be thinking. It could be because of:
Thyroid Gland disorders: Some among them are thyroiditis, the inflammation of the thyroid and hypothyroidism which is under activity of thyroid.
Renal Disorders: People suffering from kidney diseases might experience dizziness after meals. Intake of excessive salty and oily food might worsen the condition.
Heart Disorders: If the heart is not able to send adequate amount of blood to the stomach and intestine for proper digestion, a part of oily food may be left unprocessed. This may lead to dizziness andnausea after meals.
