Dizziness has become a common symptom among many people today. Where many of us might push it aside thinking it might just be a normal thing, there is much more to it. Dizziness can be caused by a number of reasons, some of which might even turn ugly if not taken care of. Thus it is imperative that you learn about what actually causes it along with and act upon it at the earliest. Here are some reasons that might help you diagnose its cause.
Gastritis
Gastritis is one of the most common reasons causing dizziness. It is a state when the lining of the stomach gets inflammated due to irregularity of diet, consuming improperly cooked food, overeating and excessive intake of oily food.
Emotional Disorders
Emotional disorders – yes, being disturbed emotionally can also lead to dizziness. If you are suffering from any kind of stress, grief or prolonged tension, you might observe some dizziness in your head after eating food. Suffering from any kind of eating disorder such as anorexia can further worsen this situation.
Labyrinth disorders: Labyrinth is a part of the auditory system and gives a sense of balance to our body. Any form of anomaly in this part of the system, disturbs its balance maintaining function, which might cause dizziness and exhaustion after food intake. Benign positional vertigo, Meniere’s disease and labyrinthitis are some among them.
Osteoarthritis: Older people are the ones suffering from this the most. Osteoarthritis mainly causes hardening of the arteries or joints. This levies pressure on the nerves and blood vessels making the person highly nauseous after food intake.
Dizziness is related to complications either in the nervous system or the digestive system.
