Help Yourself to be Healthy
If you really want to be healthy and fit, it is time for you to say goodbye to junk food, aerated drinks, steroids, and other harmful products. Let us read how you can create and maintaining high standards of health and fitness naturally.
Let us start the journey of this article with the first thing in the morning. As soon as you wake up, drink a glass of lukewarm water to flush off the waste. After brushing your teeth, have a light meal that includes some fresh fruits and vegetables or vegetable juice. After 20-30 minutes, go for a walk at a brisk pace. After returning back, listen to music or indulge in any activity you like (this can be gardening, playing with the pet, or having a word or two with your family). After 30-40 minutes, have a bath and then proceed to eating the second meal of the day 1 hour after the bath. Do not consume water in-between the meals, you can have a small intake if required. Do not watch television or read newspaper while eating.
For the second meal, you can consider options such as assorted sprouts, oatmeal, raw vegetable salad, two vegetables, and one fruit. Do remember a point to make use of only freshly cooked meals (stream or boil vegetables and do not fry), leftover meals are never recommended. If you want to add potato, cucumber, carrot and tomato in your diet, it is recommended that you retain their peels while cooking. Eat the food slowly so that nutritive value of the food you are eating is received well by the body.
If you have a habit of taking tea or coffee, try to reduce the intake and never take them on an empty stomach. Eat some healthy food before having a cup of tea, this will prevent acidity. Bad habits such as smoking, alcohol, drugs, and steroids should be avoided to attain benefits of a healthy lifestyle. In addition to that, wake up and sleep early and be happy.
